This jacket was an outtake from the runway, an Aoyama store exclusive (Tokyo flagship). Each season there are a select few pieces which are not only made in extremely low runs, but are Yohji's most expensive and sophisticated pieces placed on elegant mannequins to target the striking eye of true collectors of the label. This collection was inspired centuries old elements whilst still remaining true to the modus operandi of the house, technical 'cutting' pattern making, elegant kimono giant sleeves, tailored and jagged large fencing lapels, an aged persian rug-esque soft wool fabric (almost very Dries like), fully lined, and snap metal discreet buttons.
