A collaboration with Brazilian company Grendha, a variation on Grendene, the name of the Brazilian manufacturer. Manfred Thierry Mugler designed these with the company first introducing Jelly shoes to the United States in 1981 and were revolutionary for its time. The 1985 original advertisement has a Brazilian 1960's flavor to it, whilst Manfred incorporates his true to brand aesthetic which is a cross between elements of space age and his extraterrestrial fascination. The shoes are a flat design in pearly bronze. Made in Brazil. Great condition
