Undercover fall 2000 'Melting Pot' Mohair Plaid Knit Sweater

Sold out

From the early work of Jun Takahashi, the collection was symbolic of a time when the boundary between clothing and skin had become vague. The theme of this collection was “Melting Pot.” Patterns included traditional designs such as Gobelin-style floral patterns, argyle patterns, and tartans. In true Japanese style, if you look closely, half the garment is what they refer to as 'switching', so half is a mohair fabric, the other half is a wool with the same tartan pattern yet it's been painted on, with one sleeve that has sequin detailing. Made in Japan. New condition.  (shoulders 39cm, width 42cm, sleeves 52cm, length 51cm)
