From the early work of Jun Takahashi, the collection was symbolic of a time when the boundary between clothing and skin had become vague. The theme of this collection was “Melting Pot.” Patterns included traditional designs such as Gobelin-style floral patterns, argyle patterns, and tartans. In true Japanese style, if you look closely, half the garment is what they refer to as 'switching', so half is a mohair fabric, the other half is a wool with the same tartan pattern yet it's been painted on, with one sleeve that has sequin detailing.
