Sold out
This masterpiece is an original shearling jacket from Issey Miyake's Men 'mainline' throughout the 80s, executed in a boxy shape with the intention of exaggerating a masculine shape. The original owner had elevated the garment by getting a prevalent artist to paint an infamous Ukiyo-e woodblock artwork on the back by artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi, who was one of the last great masters of Ukiyo-e during the 1800's throughout the Edo Period. The artist was renowned for prints of ghosts, demons and samurai heroes. The garment is made of 100% sheep shearling leather with a significant weight to it.
