From the 1993 "Ultrasimple" collection, celebrating Kawakubo's 20th anniversary since starting Comme. Within this collection she played with the concept of chalkstripe, an ultraconservative tailoring fabric generally associated with moneyed menswear, such as salarymen. Whilst utilising the 'deformation' DNA signature take on the pieces being slightly a-symmetric/lob-sidded by intention. Featuring two hidden front pockets and a soft fury weighted jacquard floral fabric with a subtle tinge of metallic fibres throughout, which gives the piece depth.  Made in Japan. New condition
